Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Shape your next school-based assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a welcoming district situated in the thriving northern suburbs of Denver. Serving approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites, this close-knit community embraces both recent graduates and experienced professionals, fostering a supportive atmosphere for professional growth. As an SLP in a mild-moderate classroom setting, you'll work with a manageable caseload of 40-50 students, primarily across K-8th grade. The district values collaboration, kindness, and adaptability, making this a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about helping students communicate and succeed.
Your role will include:
Providing individualized and group speech-language therapy for K-8 students Conducting assessments, developing, and implementing IEPs Collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists Maintaining accurate student records and documentation Participating in RTI/MTSS and interdisciplinary team meetings Desired skills and qualifications: Valid CCC-SLP certification (or in process—details on status required upon submission) Eligibility for or possession of Colorado Department of Education credentials School-based SLP experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome Strong communication and organization abilities Committed to working fully onsite (no hybrid/remote considered) This is a contract opportunity running from July 29, 2026 to May 28, 2027, at 37.5 hours per week.
