Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a dynamic role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will support and elevate services within an educational setting. This contract-to-hire opportunity centers on providing guidance and supervision to onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), as well as leading comprehensive student evaluations. Your insights and leadership will directly shape the delivery of speech and language services, fostering an environment where both students and staff thrive.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

Active SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly valued Demonstrated ability to supervise SLPAs and provide mentorship Proficiency in conducting detailed speech-language assessments and delivering clear reports Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee and supervise onsite SLPAs, ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance Administer comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and parents to update and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to address student needs Maintain accurate documentation and assist in progress tracking Participate in meetings, offer professional guidance, and contribute to staff development
