Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-age students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a dynamic school environment near Fountain, CO. This part-time role offers the chance to impact young learners' communication skills working alongside a collaborative and experienced team. With a manageable caseload and clearly defined support systems, you'll play a vital part in students' educational journeys from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current Colorado SLP license Preferred experience working in school settings and with ASD populations CF candidates considered if they demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and independence Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to providing services on-site for 20 hours per week
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among elementary students with ASD Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and goals Collaborate closely with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district documentation guidelines Deliver engaging therapy sessions both individually and in small groups Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $45 to $60 depending on qualifications and experience.
