PRIVATE PRACTICE - CLINICAL FELLOW / SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST AACS
is seeking a Clinical Fellow (CF) or Speech Language Pathologist to join a dynamic team of implementers serving adults with acquired and chronic neurological conditions who require traditional treatments and interventions and who require Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and specialty services. This is a full-time and permanent position in Colorado Springs. Candidate must have an interest in traditional treatments and technology, be willing to learn, and enjoy working collaboratively as a team. Training, mentorship and team support provided. Professionalism, dedication to excellence, and respect for others imperative. - Providing traditional treatments and interventions in the natural setting
- Implementation, treatment, training, education and consultation for adults with complex communication needs who require AAC in the natural setting
- Customizing and supporting communication systems
- Partnering with the community to support adults with complex communication needs
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Passed the Praxis Examination
- Must have completed the academic requirements for Master's Degree and be eligible to begin a Clinical Fellowship (CF) OR be an applicant for the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) OR have already completed the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
LOCATION
- This is a position serving Colorado Springs and surrounding communities
- The candidate would reside or would relocate to the Colorado Springs area
- All services take place in the natural setting
