Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in an intensive preschool classroom. This contract position allows you to work closely with a dedicated team focused on supporting preschool-aged students, including those who are non-verbal, in a collaborative and inclusive environment. Located near Littleton, CO, the assignment runs from ASAP through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week on-site at a single elementary school. Ideal candidates have a passion for working with young children and are adept at addressing diverse communication needs. Qualifications and Experience:

Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license required Eligibility for SLP-CCC or SLP-CF considered Experience with PreK or early childhood caseloads strongly preferred Experience supporting non-verbal students is a plus Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements with accuracy Enthusiasm for collaborative work and inclusive practices

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language services to preschool-aged students within an intensive classroom Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to create supportive environments Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
