A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Glance Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-6:00
PM Location:
One clinic location — no driving between homes, schools, or facilities
Salary:
$70,000-$80,000 starting salary, based on experience and desired caseload
Caseload:
Typically providing around 25 direct therapy hours per week
Plus:

Our therapists typically average around 25 hours of direct therapy per week — leaving time for documentation, collaboration, planning, and being a human. Want to earn more? You can. Therapists who want to see additional patients have opportunities to earn incentive income. Extra productivity is rewarded, not simply expected. One clinic. No windshield time. Come to work, stay in one location, see your kids, collaborate with your team, and go home. No bouncing between schools, homes, or multiple facilities. Four-day workweek. Work Monday through Thursday and enjoy a three-day weekend every week.
