Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a supportive educational setting near Monument, Colorado. Start making a difference right away in an Affective Needs Program, working closely with a small caseload of just five students. This full-time position, offering 40 hours per week, features extensive collaboration as you'll partner with a team of four experienced paraprofessionals available directly in the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Colorado SLP License Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred Familiarity with affective needs and/or behavioral programs is an asset Strong communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs Work as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team to support a specialized classroom environment Assess, document, and monitor student progress, adapting interventions as necessary Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Provide direct student interventions while leveraging support from a dedicated team of paraprofessionals
