Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting preschool learners and their communication development for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a positive difference in the lives of young children while collaborating within a dedicated educational community. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 45-55 preschool students, providing speech-language therapy services that are crucial to their early growth. Your expertise will help empower each child to overcome challenges and reach important milestones.

What you bring:

Valid CDE license SLP credentials (CCC required) Experience or strong interest in school-based and pediatric settings Background in providing therapy to early childhood/preschool populations Skills to communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment What you'll do: Deliver direct speech-language therapy to preschool students Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, voice, language, or fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate records and compliance with school and state requirements Engage families in the therapy process, promoting carryover of skills Contribute to a nurturing, student-centered classroom environment Perks of this opportunity include a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule (about 30 hours per week), allowing for extended weekends and better work-life balance. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 20, 2027, giving you the security of a long-term placement.
