Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Speech Pathologist / Cognitive Rehabilitation Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team and to be on the forefront of care for concussive injuries. As part of the team, the speech pathologist provides higher level cognitive rehabilitation specifically interventions targeting difficulties with executive function, attention, problem solving, memory and word finding. Prior experience with treating TBI patients or providing high level cog rehab is required. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess communication skills, speech impairments, and cognitive functions across age groups. Develop personalized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, incorporating evidence-based practices. Implement therapy sessions focused on improving speech articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, fluency, and cognitive rehabilitation strategies. Collaborate closely with families and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care plans. Utilize EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document assessments, treatment progress, and patient outcomes accurately. Adapt therapy methods for telehealth delivery when necessary, ensuring seamless virtual sessions that meet clinical standards for speech-language pathology. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Colorado Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop effective treatment plans. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation. Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions with a focus on maintaining engagement and clinical effectiveness. Excellent collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork. Knowledge of early intervention strategies.

Pay:

$35.00 - $44.00 per hour
