Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting K-12 students in an educational setting. This full-time position offers a meaningful role in assessing and treating speech and language disorders to help students succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide professional recommendations Utilize evidence-based interventions to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders for diverse student populations
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in K-12 settings Knowledge of educational guidelines and regulations related to speech and language services Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff Ability to manage caseload and maintain thorough documentation This role provides an opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives within a supportive school environment.
