Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students across several school settings as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) near Bridgeport, CT. This role is ideal for dedicated clinicians who thrive working with diverse age groups, from preschool to high school, and who bring expertise in pediatric and educational speech therapy. Multiple positions are available, with assignments spanning K-8, Pre K-8, Pre K-4, and high school levels. Two of these openings are in self-contained programs, offering the chance to make a significant difference for students who benefit from a more specialized environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid CT Department of Health license Connecticut Teacher Certification 061 Experience delivering speech/language services in school or pediatric settings Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Commitment to fostering communication, language, and social skills for students of varying abilities Responsibilities include: Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for students Delivering direct therapy, intervention, and consultation services in accordance with IEPs Working alongside educators and specialists to advance speech and language goals Keeping detailed documentation and progress reports compliant with state and federal standards Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to a collaborative support framework If you're passionate about empowering children to reach their fullest communication potential and meet established state requirements for certification, this contract offers a dynamic and rewarding experience.
