Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role spans from ASAP through June 2027, providing essential speech-language services within a collaborative educational setting near Bristol, CT. Two talented Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to deliver high-quality care to K-12 students, ensuring each childs unique communication needs are addressed.

Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Prior experience supporting school-aged children in a K-12 setting preferred Ability to thrive in a multi-school assignment and adapt to varying caseloads Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families Reliable transportation for travel between locations within the district Candidates must be available for in-person services only

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs), and deliver direct therapy to students across a variety of grades Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students communication goals in the classroom Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and session notes in accordance with school and district requirements Serve as an active participant in IEP meetings, sharing observations and recommendations with interdisciplinary teams Support generalization of speech and language skills in academic and social settings
