Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in young lives, supporting students' communication skills and fostering greater academic success. This school-based contract position is seeking a full-time, dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is eager to work with elementary-aged students on-site throughout the school year. With an immediate start and coverage through the end of the academic year, you'll be immersed in a supportive, collaborative setting designed to help you grow professionally. Ideal candidates will bring experience in pediatric speech therapy, including SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY, and the desire to thrive in a school environment. Supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFs) is available, providing a valuable mentorship and professional growth experience for new graduates ready to embark on their SLP journey.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid and active 061 (Education) certification Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Eligible for, or hold, a Connecticut SLP license Prior experience with elementary or pediatric caseloads preferred Comfortable with on-site work in a school setting Strong communication and organizational skills Open to mentoring and ongoing professional learning Responsibilities include: Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation in accordance with school requirements Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning Offering support and, if qualified, supervision to Clinical Fellows If you're ready for a rewarding school-based SLP opportunity in a collaborative environment, with a consistent elementary caseload and professional mentorship, we encourage you to apply today.
