Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current, active SLP license for practice in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Strong background in pediatric speech and language disorders Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings beneficial Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress Conduct group and individual therapy sessions focused on age-appropriate goals Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to state and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to multidisciplinary teams Advocate for and implement best practices to optimize student engagement and outcomes
