Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a pediatric speech-language pathologist in a collaborative school environment near New Haven, CT! This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in children's lives, working closely with educators and families to help students reach their full communication potential.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches for children Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs Deliver direct speech-language therapy services, both individually and in group settings Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations Enjoy working in a supportive, student-centered setting with the flexibility and variety of a contract position.
