A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower young learners and make a meaningful difference in an elementary school setting as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC). This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to implement evidence-based therapy and foster communication growth for students throughout the full school year. What you'll bring: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification and active CCC credential Experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the elementary level Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to providing individualized, student-centered therapy Ability to cultivate rapport with students, staff, and families Key responsibilities: Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students Develop and deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required Use a variety of modalities and tools to facilitate communication skill development Provide guidance and resources to staff and parents to help support carryover of skills Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment Bring your expertise and your commitment to nurturing communication skills that impact students' academic and social growth. This contract role runs the duration of the full school year, working closely with a dedicated team to support an elementary caseload.
