We're hiring for a part-time position in Hamden at a progressive sub-acute rehab facility that provides both short-term rehab and long-term care. This position is open to CCC Speech Language Pathologists only. •If you are a clinical fellow, please look for other positions with us that can accommodate a CFY! Our clinical fellow program is very comprehensive with steps to lead you to independence with thorough & collaborative mentorship from a supervising speech language pathologist!•

Who We're Looking For:

Education and Credentials:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from

ASHA Skills and Experience:

Strong foundation in evidence-based practices for assessment and treatment of swallowing, communication, and cognitive disorders Knowledge of the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) and its implications for therapy Experience or interest in working in skilled nursing facilities, including short-term rehab and long-term care Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including PTs, OTs, nurses, physicians, and dieticians Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient, family, and staff education
