Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current or eligible Connecticut state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred, will consider Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates School-based SLP experience is a plus Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, voice, and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to high school students' needs Track student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports Offer consultative support to other staff to reinforce language strategies throughout the school day Engage students in activities that foster communication development in both academic and social contexts This contract role provides flexibility and a chance to grow professionally within a supportive school environment.
