Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech Language Pathologist serving multiple grade levels, ranging from Pre-K to high school. With four openings across different sites—including self-contained programs—this is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic educational team. Qualifications:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Active Connecticut Department of Health License Connecticut Teacher Certification 061 Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred Ability to work with diverse student populations, including self-contained classrooms Demonstrated organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessment, intervention, and therapy for students in grades Pre-K through high school Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation Offer support, consultation, and training to staff and families to facilitate student success Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress effectively Adapt services for students with varying needs, including those in self-contained settings Take advantage of the chance to serve a diverse student community while gaining valuable experience across multiple age groups and settings.
