Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists with CCCs interested in making a positive difference in a dynamic school setting near Meriden, CT. Two full-time positions are offered, both covering maternity leaves and requiring onsite support for K-12 students. Your skills and experience will help students achieve communication goals within a collaborative and welcoming educational environment.

Position Details:

Full-time contract roles with 35 hours per week 2 immediate openings: • First position: Late September start, running through mid-December • Second position: Tentative mid-November start through early January Onsite work supporting K-12 students with diverse communication needs

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Current and active Connecticut SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required Must have prior experience working in school-based settings Ability to effectively support students from kindergarten through twelfth grade Strong collaboration skills for working with educators and families SLPAs are not permitted for these roles District background check and fingerprints required before start Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview Upfront licensing completion strongly preferred

Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 learners Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff for student success Document student progress and maintain records in compliance with district standards Take the next step to empower student voices.
