We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Home Health Speech Language Pathologist for per diem work. As an employee of AAY, we view you as a person first, then an employee. DUTIES:
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients to determine speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients with various conditions, such as neurological disorders, developmental delays, or communication impairments
  • Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and techniques
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and critical care patients We offer a complete employment package for all full time employees.
