Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school settings, located in New Britain, CT. This contract position offers a chance to work with a high school caseload from now through the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to approximately 45 students within the high school setting. Manage and maintain a caseload efficiently with a 25.5-hour workweek. Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student communication and learning goals. Document student progress and maintain compliance with applicable educational and clinical standards.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Experience working with school-aged children, particularly at the high school level. Ability to manage a medium-to-large caseload effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of laws and regulations related to special education and speech therapy services.
