Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Hold or be eligible for Connecticut SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Understanding of IEP documentation and familiarity with school-based services Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and effective communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs across elementary, middle, or high school grades Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Deliver both direct and consultative services, adapting strategies to meet each students tailored goals Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, family members, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support Maintain accurate records, contribute to IEP meetings, and participate in multidisciplinary problem-solving Foster a supportive and engaging environment to help each student reach their full potential
