Key Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP-CCC certification Previous experience with school-aged or middle school populations preferred Strong skills in assessment, goal-setting, and intervention planning

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage a middle school caseload, running 35 hours per week from August 24th to December 22nd Conduct and interpret formal assessments for special education eligibility Observe students in classrooms to evaluate social and academic communication Develop and monitor individualized long- and short-term speech/language goals Deliver direct intervention services including speech sound, language, and pragmatic skills Train students to use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Collaborate with general education staff to support inclusive practices Partner with families to reinforce goals at home Accurately document sessions for Medicaid billing compliance
