Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool-aged learners with speech and language development. This full-time position focuses on working with children ages 3-4, providing essential services that make a real impact in their early educational journey. Situated at a single site, you'll have access to a dedicated therapy space—offering you the right environment to deliver high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 13 preschool students Conduct therapy sessions three days per week and initial evaluations two days per week Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure successful interventions Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs Maintain timely documentation in compliance with school standards Communicate progress and recommendations with parents and stakeholders Participate in team meetings as a valued member of the school's support system
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy (teletherapy background valued) Familiarity with early childhood populations and preschool intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with technology for documentation and (if needed) teletherapy This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, providing you with an opportunity to enhance young children's lives within a supportive educational setting.
