Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, contract-based opportunity supporting students' communication and language development as part of a collaborative school-based team. This position welcomes Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) eager to make a difference in educational settings, offering a chance to grow professionally while positively impacting young learners.

Key Qualifications:

Active SLP or SLPA license (applicable to state/Federal requirements) Prior experience in a school environment preferred Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families Comfortable delivering both individual and group therapy sessions Familiarity with IEP documentation and case management Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary education teams

Core Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs) Administer assessments and interpret results to guide service delivery Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required paperwork Participate in IEP meetings, offering input and recommendations as needed Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and communication goals Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices and policies
