Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field Active SLP license in Connecticut Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to effectively manage K-12 caseload in various school settings Organizational skills to balance documentation, therapy, and collaboration

Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations for students K-12 Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver direct and consultative therapy in accordance with students IEPs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state/IDEA guidelines Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development sessions as required Adapt therapy strategies to fit the diverse needs of students across multiple sites This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (Monday through Friday, 3537.5 hours weekly) and the chance to work closely with both students and dedicated educators.
