Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in a vibrant K-12 educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position spans August 2026 through June 2027, offering a dynamic experience working across a diverse district. You'll be a vital resource for students, delivering direct therapy and collaborating with educators and families to foster communication success in an inclusive setting.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Comfortable working with a K-12 caseload, addressing varying levels of need Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities Demonstrated skills in assessment, report writing, and creating

IEPs Role Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic care Monitor progress and adjust therapeutic strategies to support student achievement Support district-wide initiatives as the sole full-time SLP, serving all grade levels Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal mandates
