Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Connecticut SLP licensure or eligibility ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience or strong interest in working with adolescents in a school setting Solid knowledge of a variety of speech and language disorders Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver assessments, diagnostics, and direct therapy services for students with communication needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and federal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's learning Keep accurate records and track progress towards individualized goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student success Consult on language, speech, and communication strategies as needed for school staff This contract role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in a high school environment.
