This role is based in the Winsted, CT area, working full time—Monday through Friday (35-37.5 hours per week)—and is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a meaningful impact in a school setting. Two SLPs are needed to manage K-12 caseloads spanning multiple school sites, fostering growth among students across a diverse age range.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) must be current Previous experience providing speech/language services in a school environment strongly preferred Capacity to independently manage a K-12 caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Committed to in-person service delivery; remote work is not available

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic interventions for students with speech and language disorders Conduct thorough evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and maintain compliant documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to create supportive learning environments Monitor student progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and contribute actively to IEP meetings Serve as an advocate for students' communication needs across multiple schools in the district This position allows you to work directly with students and staff to ensure every learner has the tools and support they need to thrive.
