9659851-06098 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with K-12 caseloads across multiple schools in the Winsted, CT area. This full-time, contract position runs from ASAP through June 2027, and youll collaborate as part of a team of dedicated SLPs to support students communication and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred Skilled in assessment, intervention, and development of IEPs for K-12 students Ability to manage a diverse caseload, working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families Strong organizational and communication skills Must be available for in-person work; remote or teletherapy options are not available Flexibility to work across multiple school sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services to students with varied speech and language needs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and maintain thorough documentation Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions Provide support and education on communication strategies within the school community This role offers a steady schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic educational team.
