Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Immerse yourself in a dynamic educational environment supporting students from kindergarten through age 22 as a speech-language pathologist or clinical fellow. This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, providing you with the chance to utilize your specialized skills in speech-language therapy within a close-knit, collaborative school community. Key responsibilities include developing and administering individualized therapy plans to address a range of needs in assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays. You'll conduct diagnostic assessments, interpret results, and craft insightful reports to inform support strategies tailored to each student. Working closely with moderate to severe disabilities, you'll play an instrumental role from early childhood through young adulthood, ensuring student success requires ongoing creativity, dedication, and compassion. Collaboration is essential, as you'll partner with parents, educators, and support staff to develop and maintain targeted IEP objectives and ensure each child reaches their highest potential.
Qualifications:
