Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary-aged students in a dynamic school environment near Wilmington, DE. This full-time opportunity runs through June 16, 2027, and offers the chance to make a lasting difference by providing direct intervention, conducting assessments, and collaborating within a supportive educational community.
Key Qualifications:
Active Delaware SLP License/Certification (must be maintained throughout assignment) Previous experience working in schools, especially with elementary students, is highly valued Demonstrated expertise in providing speech-language therapy in a school setting Proficient in conducting evaluations, developing and monitoring IEPs, and managing documentation Adept at collecting and analyzing progress data to inform instruction Collaborative team player comfortable working alongside teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff Reliable availability for the full scheduled workday (8:45 AM 4:15 PM) Bilingual skills are a plus
Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary students as assigned Complete comprehensive evaluations and actively participate in IEP meetings Collect, track, and document student progress data regularly Foster strong partnerships with parents, school staff, and interdisciplinary teams Adjust and support changing caseloads as needed to meet district requirements
