School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Wilmington, Delaware

Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of children through impactful speech-language pathology services in an educational environment near Wilmington, DE. This contract opportunity allows you to work closely with students, teachers, and families to support communication development and academic achievement within a dynamic school setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered Experience with IEP processes and progress reporting in educational settings Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and caseload management with preschool to school-aged children Excellent collaboration, organization, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to students, addressing a variety of speech, language, fluency, and voice needs Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to facilitate generalization of skills and support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions Offer resources and strategies to school staff and families to enhance communication outcomes for students Enjoy the advantages of working with dedicated education professionals while making a positive impact each day.
