Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise to a rewarding school-based opportunity working with K-6th grade students in a supportive, collaborative environment near Georgetown, DE. This contract assignment is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about fostering communication skills among young learners throughout the entire 2026-2027 school year. You'll enjoy a flexible, part-time schedule (2 days per week), allowing you to balance your career goals with your personal life. Take on a dynamic caseload where your interventions make a visible difference. This position is ideal for an SLP with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), but SLPA applications are welcome, and strong Clinical Fellows with a background in schools will also be considered.
Qualifications:
Valid Delaware licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain) CCC-SLP preferred; open to SLPAs and Clinical Fellows with relevant school-based experience Experience working with school-age children (K-6) is highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing caseload
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy services to elementary students Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with other school professionals Provide collaboration and consultation with teachers, parents, and support staff Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by school and state guidelines Support students' communication needs, targeting speech, language, and social-pragmatic skills
