High school education or equivalent. Experience in preparation and serving of food in a food service situation preferred. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 (fifty) pounds without difficulty. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. ServSafe certification preferred.Performance Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with a team of cafeteria workers and cook to prep, cook, and serve breakfast and lunch to high school students on a daily basis. Maintain a clean and orderly environment to ensure food safety and proper hygiene. Adhere to all rules and regulations as deemed by state and local policies. Complete all tasks required to prepare, serve, and store food items. Clean on a daily basis all kitchen, storage, and cafeteria areas. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration and/or Board of Education deem appropriate and acceptable.Terms of Employment:
Full-time employment â€" 178 days/year- 7 hours/day
Salary and Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience according to state and local salary schedules. Benefit eligible position. Continued education classes increase hourly pay.Salary Range:
$23.79/hour- $26.
