Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Hockessin, DE. This role offers the chance to make an impact both onsite and through homebound student services during the 20262027 academic year. Flexibility is available for both part-time and full-time schedules, with weekdays (MondayFriday) totaling up to 37.5 hours per week.
What were seeking:
Active Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license (required at time of submission) Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Prior experience in school-based settings preferred Proficiency with IEP processes, caseload management, and collaborative multidisciplinary work Compassion for working with diverse students, including those who are medically homebound Strong organizational and communication skills Key responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language services to students in a school building environment Provide individualized therapies to students who are medically homebound, traveling within the district as needed Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Collaborate with educators, families, and other providers to support each students growth Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to annual reviews and team meetings Adapt to caseload fluctuations and adjust intervention strategies as needed Enjoy the flexibility to tailor your schedule, while fostering meaningful relationships with students and supporting their educational and communicative achievements.
