Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow, providing meaningful interventions and advocacy for their communication needs. This contract opportunity spans the school year, from August 19, 2026, through June 8, 2027, offering the flexibility of a full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time schedule to fit your lifestyle. Key Qualifications:
Eligible for Delaware state licensure as an SLP or CFY Skilled working with early childhood through high school students (K-12) Experience with moderate to severe student populations is valued Strong collaborative communication, flexible approach, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy, addressing a wide range of needs: assistive technology, augmentative communication, articulation, voice and oral-motor skills, feeding, and language delays Administer diagnostic and evaluative assessments, interpreting results to develop best practice recommendations Generate detailed, insightful reporting from assessments and observations to track and communicate student progress Draft and implement IEP objectives, ensuring measurable, student-focused outcomes Partner with parents and school colleagues to discuss developmental milestones, support strategies, and ongoing goals Comfortably engage with early intervention populations, providing foundational support and creative interventions
