9487364-19720 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in grades 8-12 as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time role is centrally located near Wilmington, DE, with a flexible schedule between 1-3 days per week based on enrollment needs, and offers a chance to impact young lives as you collaborate with a dedicated educational team.
Qualifications:
Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Delaware DE certification to provide school-based SLP services Previous experience in schools, specifically writing evaluations and participating in IEP meetings Proficiency in conducting student evaluations and monitoring IEP benchmarks Open to experienced teletherapists who can meet on-site requirements as needed Strong understanding of pediatric speech-language therapy and familiarity with school-based caseloads for secondary students Completion, or eligibility, of CFY preferred; CCC highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Administer comprehensive speech-language evaluations Conduct timely reviews of 60-day IEP assessments and identify measurable benchmarks to support student progress Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists Deliver targeted, evidence-based therapy to students, adapting to both in-person and teletherapy modalities Maintain clear documentation and ensure all compliance standards are met according to school and state guidelines Whats in
