Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing essential speech and language support in a vibrant school setting. A school near New Castle, DE is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a full-time, contract assignment for the full academic year. This role offers the benefit of working at a single school site, allowing you to build lasting relationships with students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs. Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to enhance communication and academic achievement. Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain all necessary documentation. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to ensure student success. Participate actively in IEP meetings and educational planning discussions.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Delaware SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Previous school-based experience is helpful, but not required. Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
