Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders among pre-k students. Your expertise will directly impact students' ability to communicate effectively, participate fully in classroom activities, and achieve their academic and social potential. Salary Range:
$60,000-$75,000 (based on experience) Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify communication challenges Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs, incorporating evidence-based therapy techniques Provide direct speech therapy services to students with diverse speech, language, and swallowing disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement effective communication strategies and support systems Monitor student progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes Educate families on speech development milestones and provide guidance for ongoing support at home Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with school policies Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with appropriate credentials for school settings Familiarity with school-based programs, IEP (Individualized Education Program) development, and multidisciplinary collaboration Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, educators, and healthcare providers Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet the unique needs of each student while maintaining a positive and motivating approach New grads welcome to apply!
