Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or CFY) supporting a diverse population ranging from kindergarten through 22 years old. This full-time, contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to focus fully on the needs of students while working alongside dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to students' individual needs Address a range of skills, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing, interpreting results to create clear and informative reports Comfortable providing therapy to students with moderate to severe disabilities, ages 2 to 22 Develop and maintain comprehensive IEP objectives Collaborate closely with parents and colleagues, ensuring student progress is communicated clearly and support needs are met
Qualifications:
Must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Delaware state SLP license Previous experience with moderate to severe needs is an asset Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team Flexible mindset and adept at problem-solving
