Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where you'll bring your expertise to support elementary-aged students' communication and learning in a vibrant school community located near Wilmington, DE. This assignment offers the chance to work closely with dedicated professionals, families, and students from now through June 16, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Active Delaware SLP License/Certification (required) Experience in a school-based setting, particularly with elementary populations, is strongly preferred Proficiency in delivering speech-language therapy, conducting assessments, and participating in IEP development Demonstrated ability in progress monitoring, clinical documentation, and data collection Collaborative mindset and willingness to adapt to shifting caseload needs Ability to work on-site for the full school schedule—elementary hours are 8:45 AM to 4:15
PM Core Responsibilities:
Provide targeted speech-language therapy services and interventions for elementary students Complete comprehensive evaluations to inform IEPs and help set meaningful goals Participate actively in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families Maintain thorough documentation, including progress reports and ongoing data collection Support fellow educators and related service providers across the district as needed This full-time, school-based role offers stability and the invaluable satisfaction of empowering young learners to achieve their fullest potential.
