What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with school-aged children is a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills Excellent time management and organizational abilitiesKey Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students Serve as a vital member of IEP teams, documenting progress and participating in meetings Deliver therapy services individually or in group settings, both in person and possibly via teletherapy Consult with families, teachers, and support staff to align therapy with curriculum goals Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation in a timely mannerWhat Makes This Opportunity Stand Out:
