Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract For professionals passionate about supporting students' communication growth, an exciting, full-time contract role is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). Dive into meaningful work at a supportive middle school, focusing on grades 6-8, where your expertise will shape lives every day. This opportunity requires immediate availability, with interviews scheduled for September 4, 2026. Candidates able to start promptly are encouraged to highlight their availability. Your assignment will focus on serving students at just one location, ensuring you can build strong, consistent relationships within one community. What we're seeking: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field. Active FL State License and SLP-CCC certification via ASHA. Previous experience in school-based settings serving adolescents is strongly preferred. Skilled in conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and delivering evidence-based interventions. Organized, detail-oriented, and excellent at collaborating with educators and families. Prepared to meet district credentialing requirements, including a background check and fingerprinting. In this role, you'll: Deliver direct speech, language, and communication therapy to students in grades 6-8. Assess, develop, and implement targeted speech-language therapy plans. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school teams to maximize student success. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings. Provide support and education to staff and caregivers as needed. This contract runs through May 24, 2027, offering a stable and rewarding experience for dedicated SLP professionals.
