Desired Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Florida Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but not required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide targeted therapy to students with speech, language, or communication challenges Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students are making measurable progress Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, interventions, and student progress for compliance and reporting purposes Offer consultation and training to classroom staff on strategies that promote communication and language development Engage in IEP meetings and regularly communicate with families regarding student growth Stay updated on best practices and school district guidelines This contract opportunity will allow you to build relationships throughout the school community while utilizing your expertise to impact student success.
