We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to help us provide exceptional pediatric care to our community. This individual will play a key role in helping to establish clinical excellence within the SLP department while providing direct patient care. Position Overview The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech therapy services within the clinic while collaborating with families, therapists, and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative pediatric therapy environment focused on clinical excellence, family-centered care, and professional growth.

Responsibilities include:

Providing high-quality speech therapy evaluations and treatment Supporting the development of clinical protocols and treatment approaches as needed Serving as a mentor and resource for speech therapists Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care This role focuses on providing exceptional, hands-on direct patient care Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Provide comprehensive speech therapy evaluations and treatment services within the clinic and/or community Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and goals Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate Provide caregiver education and home program recommendations Clinical Leadership Assist with the development and implementation of speech therapy treatment protocols Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for speech therapy staff as needed Assist with onboarding and training new speech therapists as needed Opportunity to potentially assist with interviewing, and selecting speech therapy team members as the organization grows Supervise SLPA's, SLP clinical fellows, and students when applicable Promote evidence-based practice and clinical excellence across the ST department Interdisciplinary Collaboration Partner closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and clinical leadership Participate in care planning and team collaboration Foster a collaborative, patient-centered clinical culture Quality of Care and Outcomes Ensure consistent, high-quality speech-language therapy services Maintain high standards for patient experience and family satisfaction Documentation and Compliance Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements Maintain adherence to clinic policies, professional standards, and licensing regulations Support documentation quality and clinical best practices within the ST team Clinic Growth and Development Assist with the growth and development of the speech therapy program Communicate with leadership to identify opportunities for program enhancement and service development Provide input on future speech therapy service offerings as needed Qualifications Active, unrestricted state licensure in Speech Language Pathology Ability to be licensed in Florida (if not already licensed) Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, required 3+ years of pediatric speech therapy experience preferred Valid Florida State Driver's License Prior leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience preferred Strong clinical skills across a variety of pediatric diagnoses and developmental needs Experience working within multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
