This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide essential speech services and evaluations, working closely with a diverse student population on-site within one school location in either Golden Gate City or Immokalee. With full-time or part-time schedules up to 35 hours per week, youll contribute to student success in a collaborative, welcoming educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathologist license Experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based setting (K-12 preferred) Proficiency conducting speech and language evaluations and developing treatment plans Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to adapt to diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds Must complete time-sensitive fingerprinting requirements; prior fingerprints in the AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite this process Commitment to professional standards and ethical practice

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations, write reports, and develop individualized goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and caregivers to support student growth Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide progress updates Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding communication disorders
