Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist near Bradenton, FL for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Working on-site across one or more campuses, you'll play a crucial role in fostering communication and academic success, with assignments and caseloads tailored based on district needs.
What You'll Bring:
Florida SLP license (Master's level required; strong Bachelor's-level candidates considered) Willingness to consider Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants Expertise or training in school-based speech therapy Ability to support diverse student populations across various age groups Dedication to collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt to changing caseload assignments
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic evaluations and direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals for assigned students Deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings respecting each student's unique needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student progress Participate in assessments, meetings, and documentation required for compliance and student support Maintain accurate records and complete required district and state reports This contract is slated to begin August 10, 2026, with services continuing through May 27, 2027. The full-time schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week, ensuring a consistent workload and the rewarding opportunity to build strong relationships within the school community.
