Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Diagnostician specializing in pediatric populations. This position is located in Cantonment, FL, and offers the chance to work primarily with child find pre-kindergarten assessments along with some school-aged evaluations. The contract duration is from April 22nd through May 28th.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language diagnostic assessments for pre-kindergarten and school-aged children Identify communication disorders and determine eligibility for related services Collaborate with educational staff to recommend appropriate interventions Document and report findings in compliance with school guidelines Maintain accurate records and data related to evaluations
Qualifications and Experience:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Minimum of 3 years of experience providing speech-language services in a school setting Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development and disorders Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
